Our next meeting [Sept], will be our 1 year anniversary meeting. Just wondering if there's anything special we could do...or do nothing special at all. I do know we might a have a special guest visitor Wink

Maybe Pamela's Corn muffins...

If you haven't tried them, I think you need to!

WOW - that'd be cool!

Anywhere from 8 - 10 - it just depends on the day.

Please, don't go to too much trouble. Let me know how much it costs, we do have some funds in the kitty, I suspect the group would love to sample some new things.

For the anniversary meeting we always do a potluck and have lots of giveaways plus raffles too. Those who don't feel comfortable preparing gf food (many have gluten in the kitchens plus kids) for the group bring paper products, beverages, prepared foods, etc. Those who do feel comfortable cook/bake what they like.

Oh that's cool! We don't have an anniversary meeting with our group. We do usually have standard special events* throughout the year though so I guess we don't need one?

*May = food fair & walk
*July = BBQ
*Oct = GF 101
*Nov = recipe swap pot luck / thanksgiving dinner
*Dec = holiday party (usually at a GF restaurant)

The rest of the year is up for grabs.
