Anyone have the answer to why my bread has a indent in the bottum when it is finished cooling. It raises like a normal loaf _________________ Jan |

| I'm looking forward to seeing what the answer is. I made hamburger buns last week and some of them were indented in the bottom and some were flat. I'm curious as to why. |

I've had a bit of a problem with that in the past few loaves I've made. I think, although I could be wrong, the summer humidity combined with the amount of liquid in the recipe makes the dough too wet resulting in a slightly mishapen 'damp' loaf. Next time I make a loaf I'm going to reduce the liquid. You might consider doing the same.
Now take that with a grain of salt... |
