It's been awhile since posted a picture without a recipe, so I figured it was time. Razz

Last week Peg made an NGF version of this, so this week she's experimenting in converting to GF.

It tastes really good, but it's a bit dense. Kind of like a muffin or pound cake texture. It's made with lemonade and lemon zest. It needs more lemon.

Stay tuned for the recipe...

Mmm...I <3 pound cake!! When I was little, I used to chow on those frozen Sara Lee cakes (yes, I am ashamed to admit that one, but hey...I was a kid...), but Peg's looks AMAZING!

Yum--keep us posted on her progress with this one!

Sorry Jenn - there's 4. Sad I'm sure MrsP would know how to sub that out if she stops playing Farmtown - Farmville - whatever that's called - long enough. LOL!!!

T - I always like Sara Lee Pound cake too. I can't say that I've ever had it frozen. Yeah, I know that's hard to believe since I eat everything frozen now... Razz

The husband has informed me that he doesn't care how many sticks of butter this recipe has. It's a bunt cake with blueberries. It's the perfect food.

Damn the butter! Full Speed Ahead!!

Actually, it's only 3 sticks of butter. Peg's been working to reduced it by using good for you yogurt.
