I've seen some improvement in symptoms since I went GF, but of course there have been those messups that I've found out about after the fact. So, I can't really say I've been completely 100% gluten free for more than a few days - and maybe not even that even though I've been trying to be GF for 3 weeks now. Is it normal to have improvement with the majority of gluten removed or am I just imagining that I've improved?

Hi Andi,
Boy - when dealing with this - "normals" are hard to come by. I was lucky enough to see some improvements with major sources of gluten removed. Enough that I wanted to continue. Some are not that lucky - they need even hidden gluten removed.
One thing you may find is a backslide in how you feel. After gluten has been removed, your body tends to become more sensitive to smaller amounts. So while you see an improvement now...you may find getting some hidden gluten will set you off. I will say that is common. It's also possible it's your body healing and purging the garbage.
I too thought it was all in my head...that's why I decided to do a gluten challenge. Plus I had one "blind" study I unknowingly did on myself with Twizzlers. The Twizzler incident kind of sealed the deal for me _________________ Al
