Errr- i was at a party last night and this girl kept telling me to try the cake. I said no thanks and she just wouldnt stop. she scooped some up on her fork and put it up to my mouth and kept saying "try it try it" - i got so annoyed that I snapped at her and made a bit of a scene. This was a girl my friend was trying to date but he decided not too so im grateful i never have to deal with her again

Yikes. Hope you don't get sick because she didn't understand the meaning of NO!

I suspect there are a few girls that have experienced the same type of treatment, but it wasn't with cake.

It was very rude of her to do that. Was alcohol a factor by chance?

Back when I thought I had IBS and was still eating gluten, I lost a lot of weight. When I would go to parties and such I often had to stay away from most food because it made me ill. People would constantly push desserts on me. I think some either thought I needed more meat on my bones, or they thought I was dieting and wanted to get me to cheat on my diet. It was frustrating.

Lol...my mind is so bad!

It's been my experience whenever something has been shoved toward my mouth alcohol has always been a factor.

While my brain calculated that particular scenario in which I suspect you are referring to TEC, my initial intent was not that detailed. It was more along the lines of "No means no". Wink

Sorry. Yes, sometimes that happens.

I much prefer an occasional thread jacking over A) a place that's Nazi-esque in it's rules enforcement B) a place where there's constant bickering, name calling, disrespect and abhorrent behavior.

Very Happy

Did you tell her why you didn't want to/couldn't eat the cake?

That was my question as well. Oftentimes people do things like that out of ignorance. If she knew the whole story, perhaps she may not have acted that way. Or maybe she is just a tool.

See how good I was for not taking the thread farther off course??? Headed off to Facebook to hijack some threads over there.....

Likewise. That's why I'm "here" and not "there." Wink

If alcohol was involved it doesn't matter what Sammy says. It'd go in one ear and out the other.

If there was no alcohol, I'm voting option B) tool.
