I found a website that has a great price on NOW Xanthan Gum for $3.98 before shipping.
I do not have an interest in this company. I just found it doing a foogle search because of needing to purchase the xanthan. I just placed my order.
I wanted to share the deal with you guys in case you need to stock up.

Colleen, I just paid $9 last week for the very same brand and size. (That is a bargain price around here.........) This is why I starting searching for a less expensive source of Xanthan.
I wanted to find somewhere to buy it in bulk, but all that I found amounts to the same price that I was paying around here for the 6 ounce size.
Glad it will help you out! _________________

I've seen it (but have not ordered) in bulk at Nature's Flavors and My Spicer. I haven't run the numbers yet to see how the one you posted compares. The one you found has good prices on sweet dairy whey, buttermilk opwder and almond flour which I use a lot. _________________ -Colleen

Vitaglo has it for $5 with free shipping on orders over $50. I get herbal tea, supplements, and protein powder so it's way too easy for me to hit the $50 mark http://www.vitaglo.com/6199.html _________________ Lauren

If any of you are thinking of buying xanthan in bulk, you should definitely check out My Spicer. I ordered from them on 2/2 and received my product on 2/8. It was $49 or so with the shipping for 5 pounds. I usually pay $7.19 for the 6 oz. Now foods brand, and buying in bulk it works out to $3.67 for the same amount. Makes this tightwad very happy! _________________ -Colleen
