There's a ton of GF available in Seattle.

We got stuff from The Flying Apron Organic Bakery--it was pricy and not knock your socks off stuff, but it was good.

Kalli's Kitchen has apparently changed into Da Vinci's http://www.nwsource.com/ae/scr/edb_vd.cfm?c=r&ven=42354&s=nws --good solid not fancy food and good bakery stuff (bread esp.). http://www.wheatlessinseattle.org/

You know Dr Fine will be there this Saturday, right? http://www.celiacforums.com/viewtopic.php?t=5201&highlight=fine+seattle

(I should mention that I am picky about flavor and texture of GF stuff, so take my reviews of the two places above with that in mind.)

Are you going to be in Seattle proper, or in the outlying areas? We have several Outbacks, Bonefish Grill and Bahama Breeze. There is a beautiful Whole Foods in the Fremont district. Puget Consumers Co-op is a good grocery store. They have GF baked goods in their bakery that are great.

Here's another post that has some good ideas in it.

Ah - it's nice to see that Kalli has her website back up! I swear she makes the best cinnamon bread. Mmmmmm

My fiance is from Seattle, so the first time he took me home to meet his family and friends, we did some research. I found this site that lists a bunch of restaurants in the Greater Seattle Area. I tried the bread from the flying apron bakery this last trip, but it didn't compare to Kali's stuff at Da Vinci's. She also had pizza in December when I was out there last. And cakes. And brownies. And chocolate chip cookies. Definitely make plans to go there. Her stuff is the best GF I've had. I debated having her make my wedding cake and ship it here to MA. (We decided that would probably be WAY too expensive...)

Have a great trip. There are SO many great places to visit. The people out there also seem to be more open to accommodating GF food.
