Hey all,

My son is waiting for his biopsy friday of this week, his blood work came back with the IGG showing elevated levels but the rest was normal. Just wondering if there are any other members from Canada?

Hey Nancy - welcome to the board!!

Sure there's several Canadians here! I think you'll feel right at home, eh?

Good luck with the test results. Please let us know how they come out.

Well , my son just got back from his scope and everything looked fine. His intestine showed no signs of anything. Doctor said his VILLI was normal and it looks like he has IBS. I am so relieved its an amazing feeling. I hope and pray someday they do develop a cure for Celiac`s and everyone suffering will be able to be treated with something other than a Gluten Free diet. I wish everyone the best of luck, Thanks.

Do be careful with that IBS diagnosis. Sometimes doctors use that as a catch-all diagnosis for stomach problems. I'm not saying going GF is the answer. I'm just saying to keep on your guard. Good luck! Smile

Hi Nancy,

That is good news! Please keep in the back of your mind - those with IBS/IBD, etc - can also benefit from GF diets. Other food may cause issues too. Please continue to explore the diet aspect of this.
