I am a dope!

After a two-year battle with GI problems and a crohns diagnosis, 13 months ago I was found to have a gluten intolerance thru naturapath's tests and since then I have been GF and feeling great. I was thinking maybe I should try gluten and went for it like crazy yesterday. had part of a scone and then a valentines dinner at an Indian restaurant. had bread, all the foods with gravy, and fried balls of wheat with honey sauce. oh, yeah, I went for it! today my belly is bloated and so sore. I guess I will believe it now!

I wouldn't call you a dope. Sometimes people have to test the waters, to see if the current is too strong...guess you got swept away!!! Shocked

yes, I am not doing that again soon! I had heard that if you have an intolerance to something (since I don't have celiac) that if you give it up for awhile, sometimes it is more tolerable. frankly, I am surprised by had much this affected me. I look three months pregnant and really hurt. dang!
