|
|
Hi!
I called Dannon 2 weeks ago about Activia yogurt. A women told me that vanilla is GF. I tryed it ( worked in 15 minutes )
So I figured out is awsome. Had like two since then. Same reaction.
Today I received an e-mail from Dannon .
Activia is NOT GF. All the flavors contains gluten in natural flavoring.
Well I guess it was not bacterias it was gluten what speed up my metabolism
Well I did not have regular symtoms (it went through soo fast) except rumbling tummy (always while eating yogurt - so it did not post a q? )

Yoplait is owned by general mills, which clearly labels gluten. Other good yogurt brands that we use are Darigold and Tillamook. _________________ -Colleen

If you can have soy, the yogurt made by Whole Soy is gluten free and dairy free. I have been very happy with the product and no reactions.

I can usually find it at my local grocery, but I think you can order it direct too. |

| My daughter has been eating these while on an antibiotic last week. That probably explains her fatigue. Thank you!! |

http://www.dannon.com/pdf/yogurtIngredients.pdf
| Quote: | Gluten
Gluten is a protein found in wheat, oats, rye and barley. Some people are sensitive to gluten and must eat foods that are “gluten-free.” Dannon Plain yogurts (Lowfat, Nonfat and Natural) and Dannon Plain Activia are all gluten safe. Though Dannon products are not formulated to contain gluten, all other Dannon yogurts cannot be designated as gluten safe because we do not specifically test every ingredient or the overall finished product for gluten. Of course, when we use wheat or wheat products, we do list those ingredients on the label, as one of the 8 major allergens. |

I was wondering about that too, since we've been told that natural flavors are now considered safe. _________________ Steph |
